MTD Support in Microtronix

Hi Again!

I need to support a DOC device in my system and I am looking for information to include MTD support into the Microtronix distribution kernel 2.4.17. I am primarily interested in including the drivers and tools that can deal with the M-Systems DOC Millenium+ device. I am aware that M-Systems provides a driver for this and I am working with it. However, I am also interested in configuring the kernel with the latest tools and drivers that might be available.

There is a directory in my kernel source tree, ..\uClinux\linux\drivers\mtd that appears to contain the driver files I might need but I do not see a CONFIG_MTD option in the kernel configuration. Do I need to patch this in?
