If you're talking about the exactly same problem, i typed sh where bash was needed. That is, line: x@y:~/somedir$ sudo sh ./setup Should look like this (as written in philp's site): x@y:~/somedir$ sudo bash ./setup
Therewere someother minor problems with quartus on 64bit SuSE.Good luck.
