make menuconfig error

I install vmware and fedora 11 in my computer,and I unzip the nios2gcc,nios2-linux file ,but when i run "make menuconfig",the result is that it cannot find "curses.h",what can i do now.

Do you have the curses-dev or ncurses-dev libraries installed?
