LWIP orLinux on Microtronix Stratix devboard

Has anyone been able to run the Linux or LWIP examples on a Microtronix Stratix development board? As far as I can see from the docs, both LWIP and Linux are targeted for Altera development boards containing a lan91c111 mac/phy. The Microtronix board only has a phy, so I would have to use the opencores 10/100 mac.

Has anyone tried this, or does anyone know how to do this?

Any help will be appreciated.
