There isn't enough detail in your question to provide a useful answer.
You need to tell us more about what you're trying to do (you're using a sed1330, fine, but *how*?) and what exact problems you're seeing. I've got a project where I used an ancient (1985) Epson LCD display which used some kind or another of SED chips. They were basically shift registers; I'd shift in two rows of 1280 pixels, clock it into the drivers, and repeat 100 times to get 640x200. One problem I encountered was driving VLCD with the wrong voltage so there was no display contrast and it looked like nothing happened. But that's all I can say; the question is just too vague.
