Kernel panic - not syncing: No init found.

    if I delete the symbol link init->/sbin/init,

    the error message ia diffrent.

    so the init was found by kernel,but why it complain?

    Hi leonqin,

    I am happy, that you are close to the end,

    the error was that the busybox is not in correct flat format, it was elf.

    I discussed with vapier about adding the ldflag for elf2flt to busybox, but it is not supported yet.

    1. The current snapshot of buildroot did not include the latest fix for elf2flt. It should be available tommorow.

    Or (better) use svn, it will update elf2flt source,

    cd ~/buildroot

    svn update

    rm -rf toolchain_build_nios2/elf2flt

    make

    2. then, follow step 4.1 in the updated post,

    3. update busybox to the rootfs

    cp ~/buildroot/build_nios2/busybox/busybox ~/rootfs/bin

    4. rebuild the kernel to update initram image

    The buildroot update to elf2flt will be available in tommorow, 20060115.

    It would be better to use svn update.

    But it still has bug.

    please download the patch into ~/download

    Apply the patch after svn update,

    cd ~/buildroot

    patch -p1 <~/download/nios2-buildroot-02.diff

    rm -rf toolchain_build_nios2/elf2flt

    make

    I posted this patch to buildroot, but it would take three or more days to sync up.

    Let me know if you have gone through the problem or not.

    the bug in elf2flt is fixed in svn and the snapshot on 20060115.

    so no need to patch elf2flt now.

    hi,it seems that "svn co svn://uclibc.org/trunk/uClibc" doesn&#39;t work for me,so I will try get snapshots from http tomorrow.

    The snapshot dir are updated to 20060116 now.

    I have updated the configs.zip, downloaded and tested with the buildroot-20060116, uClibc-20060116 and busybox-1.1.0. Please check again.
