Kernel configuration

hi

I thing the problem is that u have to be in navigator view within Eclipse http://forum.niosforum.com/work2/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif

after i create a new kernel project by selecting "file-new-project...-linux kernel project" , then i right-click on it to configure but don&#39;t see any items named "configure kernel" in the context menu as "linux quick start guide.pdf" shows.

one strange thing is that after i create a filesystem project , then i see the item of "configure kernel" in the context menu but it is disabled !!!!

what is the problem of mine ?
