Honored ContributorThis problem has been bugging me for months, as well. I have posted details here before. Every second 'build' of our program causes the javaw.exe 99% cpu problem.
AFAIK, the problem is in the Eclipse CDT 'indexer', which is why I'm really disappointed that NIOS IDE 1.1 doesn't include upgraded eclipse components. This problem is such a concern that I would not consider NIOS IDE for further projects. If you see your CPU stick at 50% rather than 100%, that's likely you have a hyperthreading CPU or a dual processor system. Check the windows task manager - you'll probably see 1 'cpu' @ 100%, and one idle. - Roddy P.
