thanks wgoosens, thats basicly what we needed to know, we wont be using it for a product ourselves, but we are doing an internship, and for our assignment we are researching some stuff about the nios ii, and it might be used in future products from our company, so one factor in the choice for the os to use is wether or not royaltee fees need to be payed for it (right now in another product the company uses windows ce, costs em 60 bucks per license http://forum.niosforum.com/work2/style_emoticons/<#emo_dir#>/sad.gif )

I hope the company wil keep using uClinux instead of the pricy counterparts. All it costs is me answering questions oin this forum in the boss&#39;s time...

same here, right now they use the micro/os from altera, but the lwip stack is rather slow, so we are considering a few alternatives, and one factor was license costs, after all if we plan to incorporate this system in every new product, we will loose some money per sale to license costs..
