Is FTP on the Cyclone V SoC Dev kit

I'm a newbie to both Linux and the Altera Cyclone 5 Dev kit. We need to do some benchmarking that involves moving some files around. I was hoping to use FTP for this, but nothing I find on the 'net seems to be working on the Dev Kit. Any advice?

    Following up on the FTP issue ...

    I found a much better solution than the FTP I was planning on using - WinSCP. Its free from www.winscp.net - I like the GUI, and it will even perform FTP xfers, but the SCP is so fast and easy I haven't tried the FTP.
