i just start to learn nios(not nios ii), and i have some question to ask.
1) i use c language to write my program, where should i compile the file? (from the tutorial of altera, this .c file is store in nios ext_ram and generate using sopc builder) i need to use quartus ii to compile the .c file?

1,2. Quartus II is compiled the hardware. nois2 IDE does it .
