how to use uart in NIOS II?

Hi!

I have create a GUI software which I want to use this GUI software to receive and send data to Cyclone II FPGA DE2 board.

May I know through the Nios II IDE software, how I write the source code to receive and send the data from DE2 board to my own GUI software?

Can show me example?
