How to use Hostfs in Niosii ide

I need help regarding file reading and writing in NIosII IDE ,

how to use Host file system ,

my problem is ,

I wrote a c program which have to store a set of data in the PC or NIOS , and read those data again

for further process .

how can i do it pls any one .. help me ... its really head breaking for me ...
