How to synthesize nios code by synplify

For the NIOS CPU I there was a skript available where it could be synthesized with leonardo. When you use the NIOS I than just add the files which are listed in the skript to a synplify project and hit the run-butten. That should work.

My personal experience was, that the nios I cpu is running at a lower speed when it wasn't synthesized with Quartus.

With a NIOS II CPU I haven't tried it yet.

But it should work when you include the vhd-Files from the Quartus II Project directory into the Synplify Project.
