How to recompile the GNU C compiler for NIOS2 ?

How to recompile the GNU C compiler and binutils for NIOS2 under linux?

I have selected nios2-gnutools src installed in nios2 directory. I want to use nios2-gnu under linux instead of windows, What should I do?
