How to program the elf file to Nios by MCU?

Hi, In our design, we use the mcu to programming the fpga, and fpga has no flash connected to it. So,Could I program the elf file to Nios by mcu? Thanks.

Does it is possible to download the elf file to the FPGA(configed with Nios core) by a mcu directly?
