How to open a niosII IDE project

Why my "open project" under the project menu is always gray? What's the difference between the import and open project?

HI,

The difference between Open Project and Import Porject is listed below.

Open Project menu in NIOS IDE is to re-open closed project which before created project.

You can find closed project at Navigator in NIOS II IDE.

Import Project menu is to import any project which non-existed project in NIOS IDE.
