how to measure network speed?

hello i am new user of Nios2 evaluation kit. My target now is to understand what i have in hands :-) now... First of all i want to measure possible network speed which could be achived. ...

where is this download section? where to search?

Is it inside My Nios2 EvalKit directories? or on ALteras web site? or forum site? or where?

Could I also find source for this echo server there?

This lwip works under uClinux? or it is separate kernel?
