How to design with Flash whithout CFI

Hi,all Is there anyone who has designed a NIOSII system which contain a flash whithout CFI? (Such as AM29LV040) And how to design the cunstom board to programm it? Thanks.

I was in this situation too. I add to switch to a pin to pin CFI compatible flash. It is the cheapest solution, otherwise you must do your

own driver... And It can be very time consuming !
