How to connect niosII to 1152MB DDR3 SDRAM with 72bit-width

Hi there, I got a develop Kit board with 1152MB 72bit-width DDR3 SDRAM, I want use NiosII to handle it. Anyone know how to connect it to NiosII CPU?

There are 2 concerns :

1. how to convert 144bit-width(or 288bit-width) of the DDR3 controller to the 32bit-width NiosII interface;

2. how to manage bigger memory space as niosII can only handle 4G space.
