how do i find the ethernet hardware mac address

http://www.nioswiki.com/operatingsystems/uclinux/ethernet (http://www.nioswiki.com/operatingsystems/uclinux/ethernet) I am trying to set up ethernet on my de2 board following the above website....

As you _are_ the vendor here, you are responsible of finding an appropriate MAC address.

You can by clusters of them from ISO but this is very expensive, so I suppose you need to find someone who is willing to offer you a bunch of unique addresses that he does not intend to use.
