Honored ContributorAs usual, the source for binutils, gcc, etc. is missing from the Linux DVD, only the newlib
tree is included. I couldn't find the source at the ftp site either. Has anyone managed to find it? And if so, how many files are missing this time? Thanks, --Scott

Perhaps, but that does not release Altera from their obligations under the GPL. Ugghh ... what a mess ... the scripts/sources are all dos format CRLF, the attributes are all 0777. I see it's still binutils 2.15 and gcc 3.4.1 -- are you aware of any _significant_ changes since 6.0 (or 5.1 for that matter)? I would make a zip again, and "unzip -a" to remove the CRLF. As I know, Altera is rather conservative. I don't think they will ever make big changes from the old stuff. It should be only minor bug fixes. They had been looking for GNU guru to join their team. But I don't know if they got it or not.Honored ContributorHi All,
