Generating compressed kernel image

I tried "make zImage" and looks like the kernel itself does not have source to do this. Is there any method by which I can generate compressed kernel image. I am getting 2 MB image which is too b...

Thank you. I have applied ur patch. It is generating zImage. I have to try booting it.
