GCC Compiling Error

Hi,

I am following the instruction of Sockit My First HPS document. When I typed make command, it didn't create the main.o file, it appeared Error 2 like this https://www.alteraforum.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=8982 . The main.c and makefile are the same as the instruction. I dont know why?
