FLASH s29gl024m support?

Hi!

Recently We have changed the flash of our board, from the AM29LV065D (which the altera eCos support) to the SPANSION (AMD) S29GL024M.

I've searched for a patch in order to be able to use it, and theoretically, I only need to add the identification parameters in the am29xxxxx_parts.inl file.

I've competed it, and it doesn't seem to work. The identification commands in the function flash_query don't succeed.

Also wanted to know about the 8bit mode of the 16bit flashes. The macro CYGNUM_FLASH_16AS8 should have something to do about it, but I don't how it helps...

Anybody knows any issue about this flash family?
