EXCALIBUR NIOS pin assignments??

Hi guys,

I need to design an 8-bit ALU and program it into the Altera Excalibur Nios board with the APEX EP20K200EFC484-2X.

From my lab sheet, it tells me that I need to assign the pins if I wanna light up my 7-segment. For example, R11, U11 and more.

Where do I find more information about this? I found a pdf which tells me the pins but they do not teach me where to assign it. They say that pins R11 and U11 are input/output pins, so how can I know that its used for 7-segment??
