Erasing of Flash

When I use the following command: system "nios2-flash-programmer --base=0x000000 --erase-all --cable=$cable --device=1 "; it starts erasing the flash. But it is sometimes it is ready wihti...

Two scenarios:

(1) If you are using an Altera built development kit, the flash memory signaling might have problem. I had experience with this before. (written successfully but couldn't load.)

(2) If you build your own custom board, I wonder if you have other ways to confirm a stable flash I/O.
