epcs controller speed

After upgrading to Nios II Release 5.0 (from 1.1) the read access time for the epcs controller appears significantly slower -- about 5x slower. Did something change? Has anyone else observe...

..discussed in that other thread but I'll just re-iterate here: This was a problem fixed in Nios II 5.0 s.ervice pack 1 (just released). The other thread discusses workarounds for 5.0 users.

When you get your 5.0 SP1 update installed, you may need to open SOPC Builder, delete,. and then re-add the EPCS peripheral to your system. After a subsequent HW compilation all should be well.
