epcs controller speed

After upgrading to Nios II Release 5.0 (from 1.1) the read access time for the epcs controller appears significantly slower -- about 5x slower. Did something change? Has anyone else observe...

Hi tns1,

Ok, so I'm not going crazy then ... at least not for the moment ;-)

I compared the speed using the u-boot epcs read command of about

128 KB. It went from about 1 sec to more than 5 sec -- I'll have to take

a closer look. Maybe altera support will turn something up.
