eCos installation

Dear sirs:

I am working with NIOSIi version 1.1 and when i try to install eCos 2.0 i got the following message from the installation program:

"Error you have either not got the NIOSII 1.01 kit installed or the enviroment variable SOPC_KIT_NIOS2 point to a differente version of NIOSII kit. Please. install the NIOSII version 1.01."

An i can not to go ahead with the eCos installation.

Is there a way to avoid shuch a problem?.

    Firstly you should post this request into the ecos Forum. The answer is that the release of eCos you had would not work with the 1.1 release, which is why the installer checks it. If however you look at the Download eCos section you will find that eCos for the 1.1 kit is available for download.
