eCos 2 Source code

Hi all,

I am new to eCos RTOS. I have to port eCos to the NIOS processor. For that I need the basic thing, ie., the eCos RTOS itself.

Can anyone please tell me the site from where I can download eCos 2.0 RTOS?

    eCOS is already ported to Nios II and is available for download in the "Download Ecos" forum of this website. If you mean you want to port eCOS to Nios I (not Nios II), then you can download eCOS without any Nios support from the mirror site here: http://ecos.sourceware.org/ (http://ecos.sourceware.org/) .... however, I really have to say there is little benefit to using Nios I anymore. Nios II is smaller, faster, more efficient, and continues to be actively supported and updated by Altera.
