Dose anyone implemment PCI compiler?

Hi,

Beause i add a pci host-bridge in my nios system, how do i test it? Does anyone have any testing example for pci compiler in software such as geting vender ID, device ID or read/write pci device? Beause i try to set pci configuration register , the signals of pci don't active. So, can anyone get me any suggestions?
