DNS client in uClinux

Does anybody know how to get DNS running automatically under uClinux?

I don't seem to be able to run the udhcpc default.script in order to create the resolv.conf file with the nameserver definition. If I create the resolv.conf file manually, I can ping a URL, but I cannot get msh shell to execute the sample script provided with the udhcpc source code.
