decompressing .gz file

dear friends,

hi,

There is a problem in decompressing the .srec.gz file .

what i have done till now:

1. I have create the file in flash by using fis create command.

2. then whenever i load this to RAM and type "go" command on redboot

it gives absured data like

$T050f:14008601;0d: ec0f0600;#85

In this i dont be able to know that what could be the error in loading the file to RAM .

plz help regarding this.
