Debugging under NIOS2 V5.0 IDE

Hi,

I'm using Quartus II V5.0 SP1 and 1.04, NIOS2 V5.0 IDE, downloading my system via JTAG onto a custom board.

I'm able to download onto the board, and bring up the system. Under the IDE debugger, when I try to click on my C++ objects or members, I get the following error message:

"Target request failed: mi_cmd_var_created: unable to create variable object"

When I try to access the values of the members, they are all incorrect.

I need to be able to access the objects and verify the data.

What do I need to do to fix this problem under the NIOS IDE?
