Debug using Active Serial

Hi We use Active Serial programming using a ByteBlaster-II cable - this programs a chain containing an EPCS4 and a Cyclone. Is it possible to use this for debug or must a JTAG cable be use...

You must use the JTAG for debug. ASMI is just for programming the

config device.

You can program the epcs via the JTAG ... but you'll need to create

a flash programming configuration.
