Honored ContributorThanks guys, I played around with it some more and found that halving the phase shift on the SDRAM makes it work. That meshes with the idea of taking the absolute time and converting it back to 25MHz phase angle.
Other than that everything seems to be fine although I didn't use the nios-terminal.
