HI, I would like to readout external CFI flash connected to cyclone 1 fpga. I have only JTAG connection to fpga, so I need to bypass or bridge through an FPGA. I have installed Quartus lite toolchai...

Hi,

In order to update the CFI flash then you will need to use https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/ug/ug_pfl.pdf. Currently Cyclone 1 FPGA has been EOL so I am sorry to tell you that I am not sure if this IP is suitable for you to update the flash as it is no longer supported.
