Custom Instruction Design Example

Hey Guys,

i need a design example for a working custom instruction on my DE2-Board.

I have read the "Application Note 188" from ALtera about the implementation of a four-function multiplier, but the document is from 2002 and lot of things are different in the design flow.

Please help to implement the example on my Cyclone II Board. Where can i find detailed information about it?
