controlling pio through web browser

Question

i&amp;#39;m running boa in uclinux on DE2. i manage to control the led thru web browser using cgi with a troublesome user interface which user has to press an OK button to update the values to the board.  I would like to make the interface more powerful such tat, for eg, i can turn the led on or off using simple checkbox in the web interface; or display on user screen when a button or switch on the board is pressed...  how shud i approach tat? Pls advise. i&amp;#39;m using boa. if u wan goahead, refer to http://forum.niosforum.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=3392 (http://forum.niosforum.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=3392)  i tried it but it was not working as i can ping the board but cant access it with browser. haven tried to solve it.
