Control Unit and Arithmetic logic unit

Hi,

I can't find answer to this question. How Control Unit communicate with Arithmetic Logic Unit. What is the way of communication between them?

I make same research. I find that Control unit decode instructions to control signals. Finite State Machines control ALU? Opcodes? I find a lot of information but I steal don't know answer to question above.

Please help me :)
