CImage class and Nios II ?

hello,

i work in image processing theme. so i use c++ to develop my program.

i have two questions:

the first question shall i use nios2eds development environment to develop my program than visual c++.

second i want to read a jpeg image so i 'm obliged to use a library.

i want to know if i can use the CImage class with nios2 an fpga board startix-5 or an other opensource library for image processing.

please i need for your help
