C++ w/ uCLinux IDE

I'm hoping to get some pointers regarding building C++ code on top of the nios2 uCLinux environment in the microtronix/eclipse IDE. I've tweaked my makefile to use nios2-elf-g++ instead of *-gcc for compilation, but I can't get the project to look for the c++ include directory. If anyone has done this and can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.
