Hi,

I had also encountered this problem!

In my case I use Qutarus 4.2 and NiosII 1.0, the problem really spent my a little time.

Finaly I find a method checking " Simulation " in System Generation of SOPC builder before generating

system that can turn the "dummy file error" away.

I agree on that variance between Qutartus 4.2 and NIosII1.0 cause the error .
