Book recommendation

Hi there,

i´m a beginner in NIOS II with first results. To keep them on i think a really good book wouldn´t be bad. Something like a C-Compendium, where all functions are described and where the view to the hardware is included, eg what aspects you have to consider or what basics are useful to know.

I know there are books about C like sand at the beach, so i thought some of you could give me a recommandation for a really good book(or some?). An online-tutorial wouldn´t also be the worst... http://forum.niosforum.com/work2/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif
