board_diag example for LCD

Hi,

I tried the board_diag example that intalled with the Nios II kits (C:\altera\kits\nios2\examples\software\board_diag). This example provides a means to test most of the devices on a Nios Development Board. I downloaded the standard.sof for the niosII_stratix_1s40 and everythingworked fine for all the peripherals execpt the LCD. I am sure my LCD is a good one because it works with the factory configuration program. Does anyone have an idea why the board_diag example does not work for my LCD?

    As a guess do you have a compact flash card plugged in? If so the LCD will not work. This is a board problem which is coverred in the errata

    If you look at the schematic of that board you will see some of the signals for the flash connector shared with J12 which is why you had to unplug the flash card.
