use 2 stopbits. Its my experience with 115200 baud on the uart, any uart in fact; that many PC's , even fast neweish ones, don't work reliably unless you have 2 stopbits. This is what I see with data going into the PC. Other direction I dont know if this is an issue. Check it, its at least easy going.
