Adding filesystem application(s)

I'd like to add "fsck" for the ext4 and jfs filesystems.

I've added my own custom drivers and programs before but for this I'm clueless as to what to do and how to compile it successfully.

Could anyone steer me (or take me step by step) to accomplish this?
