about the expansion prototype connector?!

hi..there r 2 types of 'expansion prototype connectors', 'PROTO1 5v' and 'PROTO2 3.3v'. however, it's written in the datasheet that both output 3.3 voltage high levels. how can i output 5v high levels to interface to a 5v logic high external device (either as input or output)?
