about example of board_diag

the readme.txt of the board_diag show that:

* - UART test

* Tests UART functionality for the UART defined as STDOUT.

* * Currently, only tested on the JTAG UART device.

I want to test my COM UART device, and write a program that can change the COM UART Baudrate. any suggestion?
